Description
The Chardham Yatra, a pilgrimage deeply rooted in Hindu tradition, encompasses four sacred sites in the Himalayas: Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath, and Badrinath. Historically, this journey has been undertaken by countless devotees seeking spiritual solace and purification. Yamunotri, the starting point, honors Goddess Yamuna with its hot springs and glaciers. Gangotri follows, marking the origin of the holy Ganges. Kedarnath, one of the twelve Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva, offers a profound sense of divine presence. The pilgrimage concludes at Badrinath, a revered site dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Traditionally undertaken from April to November, the Chardham Yatra is a journey of faith, believed to absolve sins and guide believers toward moksha.
