Dr Amit Sharma is an Internationally trained Orthopedic surgeon with over 25 years of experience, specializing in Joint replacements, Arthroscopy, Minimally invasive complex trauma surgeries & Sports injuries. What really sets him apart is his unique blend of professional expertise and personal passion. As an avid endurance athlete himself , Dr. Sharma regularly participates in Marathons,Triathlons, table tennis & club level cricket . This firsthand sports enthusiasm fuels his drive and enhances his medical practice, giving him a deeper understanding of sports injuries and specific needs of athletes.

Before coming into private practice in 2012, Dr Sharma did his Senior Residency from LNJP (MAMC) & Sant Parmanand Hospital, Delhi. He served as the Head of Department, Orthopedics at Dr Hedgewar Hospital, Delhi for eight years . He has further enhanced his professional skills by Fellowship in Replacement Surgery, Arthroscopy, and Sports Injuries from NSOSMC ,Sydney and the Synthes Fellowship in Minimally Invasive Trauma Surgery from KUMC, Seoul.

To further his commitment towards Sports & Exercise Medicine, he has done PG Diploma in Sports & Exercise Medicine from University of South Wales, England, one of the very few Orthopedic Surgeons in Northern India having such specialized Diploma .

Currently, Dr. Sharma is Principal Consultant, Orthopedics at Yashoda Super Speciality Hospital, Kaushambi, Ghaziabad, performing a variety of surgeries with special interest in Joint Replacements & Arthroscopy.
