Description
Tyagaraja Aradhana is an annual observance honoring Saint Tyagaraja (1767–1847), a legendary composer of Carnatic music. He composed thousands of kritis, primarily in Telugu, with a few in Sanskrit, as an invocation to Lord Shree Rama.
The 178th Aradhana in 2025 will be marked on Pushya Bahula Panchami, his Samadhi day, with a group rendition of the Pancharatna Kritis (Five Gems) by musicians worldwide. This is followed by individual performances of his compositions by students, ensuring the preservation and propagation of his musical and devotional legacy for future generations.
