Description
The Gulf Approved Medical Centres Association (GAMCA) is a networking association and is authorised to conduct pre-employment medical examinations for individuals planning to work in Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, like Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, the UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, and Oman. The medical examination process is a vital requirement for gaining a work visa, ensuring that workers are physically fit and free from communicable diseases before entering these countries.
The GAMCA medical examination is organised to protect the public health of GCC countries by examining for infectious diseases such as tuberculosis, HIV/AIDS, hepatitis B and C, and other medical conditions that might take a risk to public safety or the individual’s potential to perform their job. The test also ensures that workers meet the health standards set by the GCC.
