I am posting this review following an absolutely outstanding experience at the Delta Airlines Tokyo Office. From beginning to end, the staff there surpassed every expectation I had—and quite frankly, I think that they should be commended for the outstanding service they offer. I was in Tokyo for a couple of weeks and needed to alter my return flight to the U.S. because of a work conflict. I could have done it on the computer, but I had a couple of particular questions regarding seat upgrades, checked bags, and whether or not I could utilize some of my Medallion status perks on an alternate routing. So, I went down to the local office in person—and I'm so glad that I did. As soon as I entered, I was smiled at and immediately helped. The person I dealt with, Kenji, was not only professional and courteous, but highly effective. He reviewed all my possibilities, explained the costs clearly, and even recommended a quieter flight that proved to be an excellent decision. He wasn't pushy or in a hurry—he really wanted to assist me. What impressed me most was the level of attention to detail. They printed out a new schedule, provided me with lounge access details, and even directed me towards a coffee shop local to the area when I had a spare moment. The office in Tokyo is an extension of the Delta experience on board: considerate, refined, and highly customer-orientated. I travel often, and this is the kind of support that makes a huge difference. Thank you, Delta Tokyo team—you’ve earned a loyal customer!
