Who knew a visit to an airline office could be enjoyable? That's what happened to my friends and me when we went to the United Airlines Office in San Diego. We were organizing a friend-group reunion trip (six of us in total) and had to book flights, triple-check spelling, and finalize a few upgrades. Our representative, Monica, was just great. She went above and beyond, helping all of us to get the most out of our MileagePlus points, and even found better departure times that worked for everyone. She never once had us feel rushed or that we were an inconvenience. In fact, she made the process slightly fun—laughing at us, speculating on airline meals, and even providing some travel tips.
