Puducherry (also known as Pondicherry) is an amalgamation of different cultures, aromatic cuisine, quaint architecture and elevating spiritualism. This vibrant city on the southeastern coast of India is also called the ‘French Capital of India,’ because of its distinctive French flavour. The biggest mark left on Puducherry by the French is still perceptible in the city - the cobbled streets, bright mustard and white houses, boutiques, and cafés give a tranquil yet lively feel.
