The Civil Services examination & Forest services examination both are conducted by Union Public Services Commission, which conducts the Preliminary examination every year. This examination is the first & foremost hurdle of UPSC CSE Exam.
This examination is just a screening test but it is not that easy to simply crack this exam. One should have very sound knowledge of the core subjects & current topics to clear this exam.
There can be many ways to crack this exam, but the most systematic way is to go through the basics i.e. NCERT’S, and then jump to advanced primary & secondary sources.
