Description
My journey with Aeroflot Airlines LGW Terminal from Gatwick's North Terminal was efficient and pleasantly surprising. The check-in process was smooth, with helpful staff guiding me through baggage drop despite the morning rush. As a Business Class passenger, I appreciated the priority service and access to the No1 Lounge, where comfortable seating and decent food made my pre-flight wait enjoyable. Security was well-organized, though the queues moved slower than expected – definitely arrive at least 3 hours early for this busy terminal. The departure area offered good shopping options, and I particularly liked the duty-free selection. Boarding commenced exactly on time, with clear announcements in both English and Russian. The flight itself maintained Aeroflot's reputation for professional service. The cabin crew were attentive, and the meal service exceeded my expectations for economy class. My only complaint was the slightly outdated entertainment system, but the overall comfort made up for it. Disembarking at Moscow was efficient, though the transfer process felt slightly chaotic. For travelers to Russia, Aeroflot from Gatwick provides reliable service with better-than-average legroom. While not the most luxurious airline, it offers solid value – I'd definitely fly this route again for the convenience and competitive pricing.
