Description

UNO is one of the most popular card games in the world, enjoyed by people of all ages. Created in 1971 by Merle Robbins, this fast-paced game combines strategy, luck, and a bit of friendly rivalry. Whether you're new to UNO or a seasoned player looking for advanced strategies, this guide will walk you through everything you need to know.

History of UNO

UNO was invented by Merle Robbins, a barber from Ohio, who wanted to create a game that his family could enjoy. He produced the first version himself before selling the rights to a group of investors, who then formed International Games, Inc. Mattel later acquired the rights in 1992, turning uno online into a global phenomenon.

Objective of the Game

The goal of UNO is to be the first player to score 500 points by playing all of your cards before your opponents do. Players take turns matching a card in their hand to the top card of the discard pile by color or number, with action cards adding twists and turns to the gameplay.

Setup and Basic Rules

  1. Number of Players: 2-10 players

  2. Deck Composition: The UNO deck consists of 108 cards in four colors (red, yellow, green, and blue), with numbers ranging from 0 to 9, along with action cards.

  3. Dealing: Each player is dealt seven cards, and the remaining cards form a draw pile. The top card is turned over to start the discard pile.
