Marisha brings both professional experience in global advertising—with a background at Dow Jones and The Wall Street Journal—and an innate eye for design that defines every Anokha home. Her strength lies in her ability to shape spaces that feel quietly luxurious and deeply personal. With a refined sense of aesthetics, attention to detail, and intuitive understanding of materials, color, and light, she creates homes with a distinct emotional resonance. Marisha grew up on a tea plantation in Assam and in Kolkata. She has a bachelor’s degree from the United States and a master’s degree from Scotland. She has lived and worked in 6 different countries, raised two sons and rescued countless dogs. Twenty-five years ago her family settled in Goa, where she and her husband Steven wed on the shores of Sinquerim. Her gift for communication and collaboration allows her to build with authenticity, intention, and care.
