Description
Pacific Standard Time (PST) and Eastern Standard Time (EST) are two major time zones used in North America, and understanding the difference between them is important for communication, travel, business, and scheduling across regions.
PST is used on the west coast of places like the United States and Canada, including cities such as Los Angeles and Vancouver. EST, on the other hand, is used on the east coast, including cities like New York, Washington, D.C., and Toronto. The key difference between these two time zones is 3 hours, with PST being behind EST.
This means that when it is 9:00 AM in PST, it is already 12:00 PM (noon) in EST. To convert time from PST to EST, you simply add three hours. For example, if a meeting is scheduled at 4:00 PM PST, people in the EST time zone would join at 7:00 PM EST.
