Ceramic Tiles
Type: Ceramic tiles are created from clay which has been fired at very high temperature. They can be glazed (for a shiny finish) or unglazed (which has a more natural, matte finish).
Types:
Glossy-, Matte-, or Textured- Glazed Ceramics: These tiles have a glass-like finish, and can be glossy, matte or textured. The glaze creates a waterproof surface on them, making them great for bathrooms and kitchens.
Unglazed Ceramic Tiles: These are non-glazed tiles, which provide a raw and natural look. They are less common than glazed tiles and tend to be more porous, so they need to be sealed to resist water.

Porcelain Tiles
Description: Porcelain tiles are a subtype of ceramic tile, but they are constructed from more dense clay and subjected to higher-temperature firing. This makes them less porous and more durable than traditional ceramic tiles.
Types:
Glazed Porcelain Tile: These are porcelain tiles coated in a glaze that can give it a glossy or matte finish.
Unglazed Porcelain Tiles (Full-body Porcelain): The colour and pattern is uniform throughout the entire tile, making the tile age resistant.
Uses:
Commercial spaces, residential flooring, and outdoor areas.
Perfect for bathrooms, kitchens and foyers because of their improved durability and low water absorption.
Pros: Very durable, water-resistant, works in high-traffic areas, stain- and scratch-resistant.
Vitrified Tiles
Description: Vitrified tiles are manufactured from a composition of silica, clay, and feldspar. Porcelain tiles -- which are non-porous and extremely durable, produced via a process known as vitrification that entails firing the tile at extremely high temperatures.
Types:
Double Charged Vitrified Tiles: Two different colors tile body are used in two layers and are coated two layers of vitrified material mainly for the design and strength purposes.
Full Vitrified Tiles: These tiles are completely made up of vitrified material which make them resistant to water and stains.
Uses:
Great for high-traffic areas, commercial buildings and residences.
For use on walls and helps to maintain the same floor within wet areas, as bathrooms and kitchens.
Pros: One of the most durable countertops, non-porous, highly resistant to scratches and stains, great for heavy-duty areas.
