Ernest Lowe was established 124 years ago and developed into one of the leading hydraulic and pneumatic engineering companies in Southern Africa.  We have 14 branches across South Africa for convenient local service.

We distribute, service and refurbish a wide range of world class Hydraulic and Pneumatic product and component brands.

As an engineering company, we are also one of the largest local manufacturers and reconditioners of Hydraulic and Pneumatic cylinders in the region.  We specialise in the design and manufacture of two of our own ranges of hydraulic cylinders as well as the Martonair brand of pneumatic cylinders for which we have a licence and a patent.  A large part of our production is engaged in manufacture of cylinders to individual customer specifications.
