Currently, he serves as the Vice-Chairperson and Head of Unit-3 in the Department of Laparoscopic, Laser & General Surgery at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi . An alumnus of Maulana Azad Medical College, he completed his MBBS in 2001 and MS in General Surgery from Lok Nayak Hospital in 2006 . Further enhancing his expertise, Dr. Mittal pursued a Postdoctoral Fellowship in Minimal Access Surgery at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital from 2007 to 2009
