Description
The National Skill Development Authority (NSDA) has been established under the National Skill Development Authority Act, 2018 to carry out all activities including formulation, implementation, coordination, monitoring and evaluation of uniform training programs for the purpose of creating skilled human resources through planning and coordination related to skill development based on the needs of the national and international labor market. Under this act and the National Skill Development Rules-2020 issued in pursuance thereof, the National Skill Development Authority (NSDA) has started its activities from February 2019 with the aim of fundamentally changing the skill development ecosystem in Bangladesh. NSDA has three bodies - the Authority, the Executive Committee and the Governing Board. The Chairman of the Governing Board is the Honorable Principal Advisor and the Chairman of the Executive Committee is the Principal Secretary to the Principal Advisor.
